Will The 3 Month Unemployment Insurance Extension Take 3 Months to Approve?

American's have squeezed the unemployment insurance tube dry and need a refill quickly. As we anxiously await the process of a vote on this issue, the signs do not point towards success in the House of Representatives.

While the House of Representatives hasn't seen cooperative efforts in a very long time, they somehow came together around a bill to insist that we be informed whenever there is a security breach at healthcare.gov.

American's have been using credit card information on line for years now and we have come to realize that identity theft and the internet are fast friends.

Does this reality slow down e-commerce?  Not much.  Nonetheless, we have the House turning up the heat on ObamaCare and bringing a gang of democrats along for this fight while continuing to nurture their do-nothing identity on everything else.

The ObamaCare security bill is moving swiftly, but the process of extending unemployment benefits for 3 months could take more than 3 months to gain agreement over. In fact, the senate has barely agreed to agree to talk about the issue, so it may take a while for even them to move this extension towards a vote.

Cutting off benefits to lazy democrats is a move with no risk for republicans. However, the forces of poverty know no color or political affiliation.  When economies collapse, we all feel the pain and conservative voters need a better paying job just like everyone else. Whether you took lower paying work recently or months ago, conservatives understand the job landscape too and have to examine what is in it for them.  The reason the category of independent is the largest voting block in America is because too many people realize that voting is a WIIFM (Whats In It For Me) proposition in this day and age.  Party lines have long since grown blurry.

By the time the UI extension gets passed in the frying pan called the senate it will head directly to the fire in the house of representatives and burn a slow death.  If they do finally pass it, the damage will already be done to those who need these benefits now.  Some will have friends and family that will help, the rest will fall deeper into America's economic abyss.

All should remember at the 2014 and 2016 polls.
