Socialism Unleashed Like Rap Music 40 Years Ago

It would be terribly easy to write about every moment that Donald Trump attempts to keep the limelight upon himself, but that would require an article per day- and two on Friday.

After the first Democrat debate, what we have clearly discovered is that #BlackLivesMatter and Donald Trump is actually worth the circus he creates simply because everybody loves a circus.

Entertainment was primarily low last night, except for those moments when that boisterous, white-haired college professor looking dude boisterously said something that many of us wish we could have said.

Like, enough with the email issue already.

Bernie may or may not already see this, but if this Hillary Clinton email matter has real legs, the press would let it walk on its own and stop giving Clinton the extra shine that she really doesn't need or want, although I am personally convinced that the email mess will eventually be the rough road she travels to prove she can handle the presidency.

In reality, Hillary is just as eager to clear her name before the Benghazi committee and the world as they are to try and ruin her name some more if they can. After last night,Trey Gowdy and the Benghazi committee should reconsider their political tactic against Clinton. I would not be looking forward to giving her a microphone and the chance to look presidential because we are all clearly recognizing that it won't be easy to make Hillary sweat even with a proceeding created solely for that purpose.

News Is That Collection Of BAD Things That Happened While We Slept.

Obama's hair isn't white for nothing.  The first demand of the presidency begins with the pressure from the press to make you into the news they seek.  News reporters quickly forget that they are moderators and can easily begin conducting an interview right in the middle of a presidential candidates answer (even before they've gone over their time limit Anderson Cooper).

Pundits must consider themselves somewhat smarter than the people they cover or they would not condescend when describing politicians and the ideas to which they subscribe.  The press is clearly more informed simply as a function of the job description. But true smarts could come off as stupidity and still dominate the GOP primary race.

Trump (and no other GOP candidate) lofted the first grenade upon the #DemDebate  last night by announcing his upcoming hosting of Saturday Night Live and his plan to live tweet side by side with the debating Dem's.  Unless you didn't already know that Americans vote in dismal numbers and must vote in mass to complete that populist revolt, there really was no significant discoveries from this debate until Bernie Sanders asked US to stop bombarding the electorate with constant coverage of those "damn emails".

That sounded like a political calculation error from Sanders, but in fact, Sanders is the person who will most benefit from an opportunity to advance the campaign conversation down the road towards real solutions and not trapped underneath the umbrella of trickle downs promised prosperity; handcuffed by politicians who want to lead simply for the sake of winning, or those damn emails.

There are no winners with the kind of congressional gridlock that would rather conduct repeated political witch hunts instead of  displaying the courage to fight a legislative battle in today's blood thirsty, polarized congress.  Even our president can only nip at the edges of possibility with the use of executive orders that set federal directives but have little power over truly fixing these Divided States of America.

Aside from hearing Socialism's music played before the masses, the debate was somewhat dull for us Socialist' who already know the Democrat party line and expected this eventual espousal of Socialism evidenced by the predictable rise of the boisterous proletariat's that Sanders roused up in Las Vegas, Nevada last night. Las Vegas happens to be one of the last strongholds of labor unions, so a crowd that Bernie Sanders had eating from his palms came out in full force to infuse the audience with hoots and hollers for populism.

The struggle I have now is the same one I had at an early age of employment.

How Do You Find A Healthy Relationship Between Capitalism and Socialism when one is always seeking the death of the other?

Maybe I started working way too early as a kid.  When you are a leader by nature, every job you do will call you into leadership.  Such was the case for my early working years in which I was quickly drawn by the money and mindset of management versus the poverty and limited perspective of the general worker.

Even my paper route forced me to learn the entrepreneurial reality of supply and demand, managing expenses and yielding a profit that you fully keep for yourself or use to upgrade to a banana seat, Bronco orange, Schwinn 5 speed bicycle that allowed me to expedite delivery and grow the business.

The view from above showed me that a little brother who actually worked for junk food and snacks adds a particularly alluring means of making more money and minimizing paper cuts from folding too many papers too fast.  It also showed me how difficult things get when Wednesday or Sunday circulars came out and I had more newspaper than I could carry on a Schwinn; or my little brother became too lazy to wake up during those ungodly hours of morning newspaper delivery; or it gets tough to make it to middle school on time when the news is running late; or you, the sole proprietor, are feeling just as lazy as that helper of yours who no longer appreciates junk food for payment.

One day you finally do the math and realize that you are working really hard for very little profit, and you start to wonder what the big boys at the top would do if you didn't deliver your 120 newspapers every morning? How would they make all of their millions without you and those of your kind?

Newspapers remain around mostly because of the generations that still enjoy them, not because delivering them is a good gig.  I appreciate print publications and even dreamed of starting one of my own back when I was young and didn't see the coming of the Internet.  Now, newspapers embody the stark separation of the generations.  The very future of print media, even Playboy, seems tied to our parents and them- the precious few Americans that were raised to want to read and prefer not to scroll.

I love the music of my parents and them. Yet, it is not exactly the same as the music of my own childhood, and I can't help but notice that, unlike the music of our parents, the music of my youth continues to play on my children's playlist. The youth of today and their parents are the first generations in modern history that hear and enjoy the same kind of music. We never listened to our kids music and ask the question of "what is that", even though we scream at them to turn "that" down, mostly because we think our version of "that" is superior to this new stuff anyway. While that might seem like a simple coincidental observation, it actually might carry a deeper meaning when the protest music from 40 years ago has yet to stop talking.

Rap music started this revolution first for young black people.  FOR ME! Though me and rap are not as young as we once remembered, our voices of revolt are still resounding.

Starting with the youth of the late 70's and early 80's, Black America's rap music has inundated the voice of all of the youth so completely that the message oozed outward and is now speaking through every mouthpiece imaginable.

Plenty of sensitive and caring whites and older Americans saw value and purpose in electing Barack Obama as our first black president, but they all would have failed if not for the power of the minority and youth turnout; the same group of voters that are forcing us to Feel The Bern as we speak.   For the revolution that Sanders seeks to take soil, these voters must place boots to the ground and achieve an Obama like turnout and beyond.

Some of that young crowd includes the Black Lives Matter movement and those that they have PROVEN to inspire.  #BlackLivesMatter crusaders are those same hip-hop loving kids of ours who grew up on our subliminal message of social liberty layered with a heavy bass beat or a beat boxer spitting into his hand when no better accompaniment could be found.

 It was a message that nothing and no one could stop us from busting a rhyme making a social revolution happen, or silence the message once it began; a message of rising above the efforts that seemed systematically contrived against you. Even the efforts to denigrate black street music culture only further exposed it and expanded it.  Much of that same dynamic can also be applied to the journey of populism.

It is a message that even has republicans talking wage equality. They might be trying to add more of that comfortable banjo background, trickle down tax cut measure talk, but they hear the music that is making everyone bob their heads up and down with that stink face you get from a funky rhythm- and in your face rhyming  rhetoric to go with 'em.  Like a hard hitting lyric from Public Enemy or KRS-One, even the old folks who hoped to conserve their traditional forms of music, had to stop and listen at least to discover what was objectionable.

 If you tryna say you want a revolution?
Mandate voting in the f- -kin' Constitution.

One way or another, the beat and the message kept playing, and it won't be stopped even if Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift collaborations have to keep the message and the music alive.

Before long, even country music lovers, inside the reddest of Red States, have had to endure rap's social invasion simply because the youth heard it and couldn't ignore the music or the movement.

Because America is far from the day that 80%  participate in an election (54.9 percent turned out in 2012), Bernie Sanders can't get elected as America's next president. But he showed up, took a seat in a place without welcome, and turned up the sound of Socialism last night. 

Capitalism must now do its best to insure that most won't remember the hook from his song or the moves in his dance. But you can best believe that the beat will stay in their heads forever.

Will Women Confront Today's "Legislative Daddy's"?

Hillary is currently the only woman Donald has
not tried to destroy. Is he saving it for later?
Don't republican women have a problem with this?

If resiliency is the TRUE test of mettle that helps us to determine our president, than this is actually more of a coronation then any of us knew.

What we know about American politics has been shaken to the core.  First, by two terms of a Muslim named black president, and currently by the total inability to connect the dots on what will happen tomorrow.

Will Bernie "the Socialist" Sanders really keep rising in the polls as Hillary and Trump remain the most hated and likely candidates to represent their party in a general election?

Trump gets away with being utterly offensive towards key segments of the republican electoral path while Hillary gets beaten and battered for reasons we might take years to ever agree about cause we'll be too busy beating her still.

Will she eventually get the positive impact of all the negative press that she's getting when voters have to stand in a ballot box and decide who can actually handle the rigors of the job, realizing that an adversarial media is among the greatest of all human hurdles?

Sort of.

More accurately, the press is proving themselves to be  one part journalist' and two part predators of sensationalism above substance. Like the way in which they've clung like stink to crap on the story about The Donald who dared to describe another presidential candidates facial features as a reason for her inability to preside.

Did Donald actually say that  Carly Fiorina's mean mug and pursed persona makes her less capable of leading others?

No, but I GUARANTEE you that had Donald declared such a thing about any man, the automatic question that would have followed would have been:

"Do you feel that his facial features will hinder his ability as a president"

That question never came. During the interview or in post interview analysis of what he said or what he meant while trying to clean it up.

What also didn't happen....again, is the expected drop in poll numbers that would connect the dots between the behavior and the response that says Americans, primarily republican American women, care about electing a misogynistic president.

Did I just call out republican women?

Actually, all women- including my wife and 5 daughters and my momma, and grandma- are unfortunately squarely in my line of sight today because the more and more we really take a true examination of the REAL war on women (and it is a real war, rather you like it or not), some of the combatants are lobbing grenades at themselves from both sides of the battlefield.

Sorry ladies.  I say this with all of the due respect and humility that a male feminist represents.  The mere notion is an oxymoron and nearly moronic if you think about it.  How can the slave master pretend to be interested in ending slavery while benefiting from free labor and idly watching the systematic brutality that insures the future of the program?

Our women are victims of men. They are victims of our inability to understand their core motivations.  Where men failed to fulfill the role of leader/provider, women have done what was necessary.  Changing your duties doesn't necessarily change your core motivations but it will expand your capacity to do what otherwise had been expected of others.

Is it proper for women to be in leadership roles?

Is Nina Turner too passionate for her own good, or is she willing
to sacrifice anything and everything for the cause of  justice?

I grew up around churches that didn't know if women could be trusted to preach (so they took over testimony service, which is now mostly gone as a result), or be trusted in pant suits similar to the style a man commonly prefers.

Today, we still don't trust women to be smart enough about their own reproductive choices.  "What makes them think we need legislative daddy's to tell us what to do. We are grown 'A' women" said former state Senator Nina Turner of Ohio on Saturday's (9-12-15) MSNBC's Melissa Harris Perry Show.

In her always passionate refrain, Turner added, "If your hair is on fire, make like your hair is on fire" responding to the tacit response that women often choose to avoid the risk of agitating the fearful masses and risking their own existence.

Her words inspired me to wonder why I always run to the television when Nina Turner speaks, but don't necessarily feel the same heat from other women who undoubtedly feel the same burn Turner has.

To be Square and fair, black folks do this towards black folks and every group of challenged individuals picks sides in the struggle to either embrace or reject their plight.

Not just black on black crime, I'm talking black on black criticism, or white looking Mexicans who denigrate those who cruise and low ride during Cinco De Mayo.  

I listened to an interview with Dr. Damon Tweedy, a black doctor who recently describe how one elderly black patient rejected him as a doctor feeling that the hospital had passed the inferior black doctor upon an unwitting black patient. (NPR interview)

Self hatred examples are ample, but y'all women really need to do some reckoning.  Not because you are the sole cause of the problem, but because you are the focus of the change. Men can Lean In, but we have to bend our posture towards the cause of happiness for the women in our world and in our lives.

We know that our drunk and disgruntled daddy can do a lot to help cure the damage of our childhoods that we carry into our adult lives, but the real work is personal.  Sometimes drunk daddy isn't ready to help you in the healing. Yet heal you must.

Women must heal themselves from misogyny by addressing the misogyny that they do to each other, as we've long since realized that women mostly dress up for each other and hardly for us guys.  In kind, women criticize each others dress and hair style while we guys obsess over the hips and curves hiding behind all of the pomp and circumstance of being a woman.

 We've always known that women are notoriously skeptical of other women relative to the issue of rape. When it comes to Bill Cosby, I don't really want to tell you the lack of universal disgust among women, even in my house.

Donald can get away with being an ass because he knows what we all need to come to grips with.  Women are as tough on women as anybody.  Maybe worse at times.

Had Hillary's assistant been Anthony Weiner and  Weiner's wife was caught sending naked pictures on a phone, goofy looking Weiner would be a hero of sorts, especially if the nude woman involved was his rather attractive wife Huma Abedin, whose nude photos would only draw criticism from other women judging the size or the amount of firmness in her breast', or the presence of stretch marks if she's had children and/or a weight control issues.

This demand to be beautiful could also be blamed on men, but it loses its impact among wise women who know that men are attracted to ALL types of women, especially confident ones.

Whether she's elected or not, Hillary is going to win in the court of public opinion just because of the perseverance she gaining vis a vis this media butt kicking she's bravely enduring .   She won't get it from The Bern, who is too nice to go there, and Joe Biden is hoping that this email thing will hurt her instead of help her as it ultimately will when it comes time to actually vote for just one of these candidates on either side of the isle.

Americans notice the attacks, but not more than the camera which has a way of focusing itself over and over upon the person who eventually gets the nod.

Is Hillary Struggling With Women Too?

Hillary not only needs to actively court the support of women, she needs to actively court the vote of black women like Michelle Obama, Nina Turner and the 6 that are in my immediate family (all will be voters in #2016).

 While a coalition of black voters can be inspired to get out and vote by the Obama voter turnout machine, who they vote for (especially in the primary races) could be a mixed bag without some necessary female guidance.  

Some aspects of that guidance will need to softly inspire that segment of society that only a soft spoken black woman can push into action. Other parts will need to go Nina Turner all over this nation to inspire those people who only listen when passionate, trustworthy black women like Nina Turner challenge you with her vision and values.  Does that represent a form of my own male self hatred?  I won't pretend not to be more cautious around a smooth talking man versus a loud but loving lady.

Does Hillary need a "blacker" woman to lead her cause?

With rugged women, you may not always like what you see but you always trust that it is real.  That is the power of what it means to be a woman, and nobody seems to harness and utilize this power better than black women. Hillary needs a couple of strong voice, dark skinned (no offense Karen Finney. we insiders know you are black) black women to get out in front for her for the sake of both the female vote and the black vote, key reasons for 8 years of Obama.

Women must harness the breadth of their power for more than just silent control of unsuspecting men. Women can force the hands of justice by simply patting out the fire in each others hair and destroying all of the matchbooks of self hatred that starts many of them.

What does that mean exactly?  Push back at Trump's polling numbers until he lets up on Fiorina, and remind all of the other legislative daddy's that Roe .v. Wade was decided by a lot of smart adults, some of which were women.

Can You Win Any Election Without Women?

Even that cute skinny comedian who did the Fat Shaming video has a reason to join this cause since she will not be young and pretty forever, however, she MIGHT decide to remain a woman since she mentioned that being a man would have made her humor more funny or  more generally accepted. (But you knew you weren't a man going into the satire that you hoped would shamefully inspire people..........huh????)

Women could insure the wage equity that they seek as well, but not without bringing along other disadvantaged people (men) in the process.

Don't assume that I see women as some monolithic conglomerate of voting sameness? Hardly!

Yet, the attack of Carly Fiorina's face is an attack on the entire gender, regardless of political bend. And the cause of gender equality is ONE.

 This was a similar revelation that Dr. Martin Luther King faced when last he marched on earth.  How do we fight for the conditions (via policy) that impact blacks the most without fixing the greater impact on poor people as a whole?

How can ONE woman rise above beauty as a pre-requisite if so many other women tacitly support these trappings of beauty and popularity?

You can't do it, so don't try.

Can Clinton/Trump Win This War With The Media?

What we are experiencing right now is a form of a litmus test and it is being conducted at the hands of the two leading candidates for president.

On the republican side, there is a test of whether or not a republican candidate can achieve their ultimate mission with Fox News in an adversarial posture against them.

As it stands, Fox is not necessarily an adversary to Donald Trump, but they have yet to fully resolve that Megan Kelly beef or the underlying sense that each reporter on the network is totally torn between their gut journalistic instinct and front office instructions.

The best we can tell thus far, Trump is winning this war and has forced Fox to cater or lose access to a candidate who doesn't currently need any one network to achieve his purpose since each of them seems eager to chase after an interview by phone, in flight or with Trump Towers decorating the backdrop.

Whether or not Trump's posturing will ever need to extrapolate out into the details we seek still lingers in the wind since Donald gave into the GOP by signing that Pledge of allegiance, and Fox gave into Donald by treating him with kid gloves, leaving no one left (but Hugh Hewitt) to corner Donald on details.

Trumps republican opponents will soon have to wage a combine and conquer approach to take out Trump if they can, and then we will see if the GOP party is truly ready to let Trump lead them into permanent change from having to give themselves over to the most liberal republican EVER.

This is a statement campaign worthy of watching for that reason alone, but that is a sideshow to the war between Clinton and the predominant liberal press.

Can Clinton actually win the White House against the will of a LIBERAL mass media still trying to make her say sorry?

Somehow the really smart media thinks Hillary is stupid enough to hope sorry solves the problem.  The moment she says sorry, the question evolves towards new questions of what exactly is there to be sorry for, the actual behaviors or the perception?

Gotcha!!!

The media is a fraternity that only really respects journalistic integrity.

Translation:  the media will search for gotcha moments or obscure military groups like the Quds instead of the familiar Kurdish fighting group to confuse candidates who didn't read the Cliff Notes before the interview, and they will try to make Clinton trip, fall and grovel to their feet just to get a hand up from them, which notoriously never comes.


Why Do You Think They're Called The Press?

Every politicians has been placed in the media wine press to determine their quality and tolerance.  This campaign season, however, a couple of these grapes are not nearly as fragile as usual- kind of with a rubbery, push back quality in fact.

For years in wine and politics, we've only focused on the grape quality looking for stronger varieties that would project powerfully before the world while succumbing to the squeeze of the press as a necessity to the process.

Modern mass media- and wine making- are a whole new world now since do it yourself options have thoroughly invaded each industry.  While home brewed wine has only added to the richness and vastness of an industry that more people understand and deeply engage in, Twitter and Facebook and Yahoo and cable television and everything else that is twice as fast as waiting for that newspaper or network news report,  has changed the media in a unique way that we've yet to give a thumbs up or down to.

Is The Media NOW On The Ballot?

The Summer of Donald has been the season in which a potential presidential candidate tweeted his way to the top.  It might also become the summer that America's most powerful politician finally gets placed on the presidential ballot too- so to speak.

If Trump can actually continue his campaigning without really spending a dime of his billions, he will have done it without a SuperPAC in tow, showing each of US that money is powerful, but not insurmountable if you have media savvy.

That is equally the statement being made in this war against the mass media that Trump and Clinton are actually winning right now.

I have seen the light.  And it is good.  Not only are Trump and
Clinton fighting common enemies, they are doing together.

I just had a revelation that this new observation connects right back to MY same old Clinton/Trump conspiracy theory of the two working together to dismantle a fractured party from the inside out.  If these non media savvy republicans  don't figure out how to out savvy Trump/Clinton, Trump just signed the pledge that beholds the republican party to him versus he to them as the GOP is praying.

So yeah! Add the mass media and even SuperPAC's to my list of groups under coordinated attack by both lead candidates in this election.  I can say with certainty that each of these candidates are individually coordinating against the GOP elite, the mass media and SuperPAC's out of individual necessity.

Are Trump/Clinton also working together?

Was it originally a drunken joke during Donald's wedding reception or an accidental occurrence that is distorted in perception?

 If Clinton was to have a presidential coronation, Trump is providing the red carpet and an etched in history example of how to own the mass media, still the most irresponsibly dangerous politician alive, even worse than Trump.

SquareBiz Newsflash: Apparently Trey Gowdy Has Leaked Hillary Clinton's Classified Emails Too

Karen Finney, the lead spokesperson on the Hillary Clinton Campaign, just reported (Thomas Roberts MSNBC) that the Gowdy committee  leaked one of the classified Hillary emails to the New York Post after they had already determined that the email should have been classified.

Just in case you are scratching your head I will repeat that.

Gowdy and his committee, sworn to the cause of justice, are proving Hillary leaked emails that should have been marked classified by leaking the same classified email themselves.  

Some of this stuff you just can't make up.

Hillary Gets Tough On The Stump. Was It Enough?

Here is my problem with the Hillary Clinton email story.

If you already assume that she has done something nefarious outside of using a private server instead of the government server that her boss requested she use, the question you will ask of Hillary will sound a lot like Ed Henry (Fox News) did yesterday when he asked her, "did you wipe the server?", as though she would break down under pressure and spill her guilty guts.

Other than Bill's sexual slip ups, the Clinton's have been regularly investigated but never convicted of misdoings.  The natural evolution of those who endure legal poking and prodding so much is probably what causes Hillary Clinton legalese, the corporate language and tone that keeps Hillary from touching hearts and changing opinions- which she doesn't seem to believe is really possible in the first place.  http://magazine.good.is/videos/clinton-speaks-blacklivesmatter

Now that the FBI is on the case, its time for Hillary to get Ed Henry off of hers.

Yes I'm a Feminist...So What?!

Legalese is simply a necessity in a world that is searching for signs of weakness as a fuel to its hunger, especially from women.  Donald Trump might feel bold and powerful with his fractional control of a fractured party, but his words of insult and anger are terribly revealing about a person wrought with insecurities that mom and therapists can smell from miles away.  If Trump is doing anything, he's mirroring the fears of other insecure Americans who are worried to death about the direction of this nation and are thus inclined to point blame as a matter of......security.

At some point during Hillary's question and answer session regarding her email yesterday, she got tough, and maybe a little angry with Ed Henry, telling him that "he was not listening to her" as she tried  to explain that the normal nature of verifying and classifying documents in government would need to occur on her emails regardless of her choice of server while serving as Secretary of State.

Maybe it was the Denver Bronco orange suit that she wore for the occasion that touched my heart, or it was the enticing feeling of discipline that reminded me of my mom. Though you protested as a child, you grew to long for the loving correction that you finally realized was as an effort to keep you on track in life.

Ed Henry has been off-track with Hillary for some time now because he, the conservative news flag waiver, is the one guy most responsible for being the voice of the entire media who feels essentially stiffed by the lack of access that Hillary has given them, although the liberal media feels like traitors whenever they mention it.  Their hope in some twisted way is for Hillary to have to grovel to their scrutiny in an effort to recapture a crumbling campaign. An Elizabeth Warren to be another Barack Obama would serve perfectly to satisfy their anger with Hillary.

THIS IS STILL ABOUT THE MEDIA

When the initial charge of the  right-winged/media based attack against the Clinton's began, it seemed unreasonable because that would imply a sleeping with the enemy conspiracy in that the media leans firmly left of Fox News and the political right.

Exactly!

To date, only republicans and the media continue to chase after the email story.  The lack of real evidence of real malfeasance means that the Clinton's remain mostly correct on the claim of this sleeping with the enemy conspiracy against them even though the story keeps nibbling at her poll numbers.  It also means that the bloodhounds must sniff harder.

What looked like the last lonely bloodhound left on the sniff, Trey Gowdy and the Benghazi Committee, is now reignited by the State Departments attempt to resolve potential issues within the Clinton document chain prior to her potential presidency instead of at their leisure as is the case with most government stuff. In the end, the only real Clinton bloodhound remains the media. Gowdy is just a pawn for the press who is stuck trying to justify all of the money he's wasted on this smelly chase.

If in fact there is anything potentially illegal to be dealt with- which is unlikely since improperly classified documents happen often, as do the post dated arguments over what is and isn't worthy to be considered classified- the FBI is our last best hope for uncovering that answer one way or another.

The initial FBI finding is that  305 Clinton emails will undergo a classification review. Two emails have already been considered classified, or more sensitive then previously marked.  Whether or not these 2 emails and their content rises to the level of necessary action towards the two individuals that sent them seems to be the thrust of FBI concern.

Both senders of these emails are currently working for Hillary's presidential campaign and could already have been addressed on their error, yet the opportunity to prove that the Clinton's are really bad people and this is not just a lazy media searching for an entertainment angle for ratings sake dangles before US again.

If these staffers made unforgivable classification errors that Hillary needed to address, she certainly wouldn't have rehired them to work on her campaign, would she?  With the next level of heat potentially going towards these two staffers, it makes sense that Hillary got out in front of this for them instead.  Given the result of yesterdays interview performance, standing up for trusted confidants might be the presidential posture that Hillary was looking for.

For just one moment during yesterday's presser, I wanted Hillary to let her clearly apparent passions boil over instead of keeping them firmly in check as she managed to do.  At the risk of cursing her campaign kharma for the rest of time, I actually wanted Hillary to be more Trump like on the reporter who keeps pushing her every chance he gets.

Because of her hands off interview approach to the 2016 campaign, Ed Henry is taking one for an entire press core eager to finally force Hillary into the kind of exclusive interviews that Trump does almost daily.  What must not be mistaken is that this war will always be about the press and their anger with being beaten by the Clinton's at every turn.

If Hillary withstands the heat of this newest speculation, she'll need to credit to the speculators.  The opportunity to advance the cause of women lies within the reach of a nation that is watching the first black president complete two terms and same sex marriage approved by the Supreme Court during that same span of time.  Hillary will only lose if she actually did make an unforgiveable mistake with her email, and she seems confident that the American public will get the facts and judge this matter more fairly than the press or Ed Henry.

If the answer to this email question is truly in the hands of the FBI, its time for US to let them do their jobs, and Hillary is just the right person to remind US of that fact.

ore, and then one day we actually found that we appreciated it- maybe even miss it a bit.  It's time for Hillary to get tough like somebody's momma on Trump, Ed Henry and all of those who indirectly accuse her of wrongdoing as a way to justify their wrongdoing towards she and Bill.

For those on the wrong side of that tongue lashing, it will feel a bit like the days when you kept bugging mom about when dinner was going to be ready.  To which she said:

It will be ready when its done.  Such timeless, stern wisdom. Dare I say, gravitas. (Too soon?....my bad!)

Republican strategists, who are the one's most responsible for figuring out what to do about Donald, have typically tried to use the old "failed Obama policies" as a reason for explaining the GOP anger that's leading to Trump's meteoric rise.  Since Democrats are responsible for the same explanation as it relates to the rise of Bernie Sanders, both parties have taken to the assumption that America is basically angry but for different reasons.

What the basic voter in both parties knows for sure is that universal economic complaints that ushered in the Obama presidency have lost several voices since the wealthy are not complaining a bit, but are bleeding the benevolence of the Obama years before somebody inevitably pulls the plug on the whole money making machine.  No one really trusts that the money machine will ever truly be dismantled even if its forced to distribute its output a bit more equitably.  Smart people understand that the machine must be forced to produce more just to move towards this mythical, mystical concept of equity that so many are striving to achieve.

Translation, the rich will get even richer if the rest of us have any hope of mere stability.  Add capitalistic wisdom with political frustration and Donald Trump might be the most obvious answer for president, explaining a presidential view of Trump that's catching more momentum each day.

Of course this probably is more a result of that loser Mitt Romney (Trump's words, not mine). If Republican strategists are really using the failure of Obama angle to explain Trump, its probably because they understand that a lame duck Obama is still seeding the dissent of the right.  President Obama gets universally described by the right as a failed president despite news reports of Obama victory after Obama victory that keep occurring since the landslide republican sweep of congress during midterms.

Sure, the middle class is still hurting even thought the country seems to be on the rise.  Yes, our educational system is stuck in flux between the Bush years and the Obama/Clinton support of Bush policies that are slowly losing favor despite few prominent opposing plans to do education differently. Health care is in similar disarray given the infancy of universal health care in America, but none of these issues are the reason Trump keeps rising in the polls.

Trump is the guy that will hopefully make a losing party feel like winners once again.  The entire field of republican candidates were pegged by power brokers for what is perceived as their anti-Romneyesque natures.  In other words, these are supposedly electable candidates with crossover appeal designed to wow the electorate and win one for the GOP.

As it relates to straight WOW factor, nothing beats Donald Trump.  In fact, every other candidate in the republican field has a platform so similar to the other candidates in the field that neither of them will be able to make a case that they are the best voices for the republican ideology because the sales pitch comes across like the adults on a Peanuts cartoon. "Waa wa waa waa waaaaa".  Most Americans could recite the tenants of trickle down republicanism in their sleep. Rand Paul is the only real deviant in the entire group of republicans,  but not on economics.  Hillary will pound this point into the ground for the next year until somebody in the GOP comes up with a form of capitalism that takes care of people better.

Correction!  True Trump deviates as well since he has a background in liberalism that might make him the greatest of crossover candidates among the field of republicans if he is able to survive and conquer the primary season.  He has already begun to spill the beans on some aspects of his liberal side, yet, he seems media savvy enough to avoid specifics until he no longer has an option, which could be somewhere near the last month of a general election in reality.


Do You Want To Win Or What?

What Donald Trump has unveiled is the extreme weakness in the republican field which was compiled for one particular purpose; overcoming the charisma that killed them for two presidential cycles.  Right or wrong, every losing party is always working on the last election even at the consequence of recognizing current and future trends of importance.  America appears to be a nation of young people concerned about a future being squeezed between the palms of corporate greed and congressional cronyism that makes it all possible. Republicans responding to the call for charisma could be the equivalent of chasing after echoes from the past versus the visionary populist passions of our present political climate.

This all means that Trump can and might actually represent the GOP, a party determined to put forth a  candidate charismatic enough to accomplish what Barack Obama did on the way to the white house.  What they won't likely recognize is that we've moved on from Hope, Change and charisma and need a president who can continue to grow the economy and share the wealth at the same time.

This sounds like an opportunity for a true moderate like Hillary Clinton to succeed, but the forces designed to derail presidential cake walks are hard at work placing thorns in her path.  As the potential first woman president, she should expect no less.  If Hillary wins it all, she might in fact owe a debt of gratitude to those who toughened her up to both win and perform in the role.
History is aligning for her first presidential "thank you's" to go to a cantankerous media and to her old friend Trump who are both unknowingly conspiring to provide an assist of a lifetime.

The last shall be first and the first shall be last.

No, this isn't about religion, God, church or even anything particularly spiritual.  This is nothing more than the approach that Hillary has taken as she works to pursue the presidency following an unbeaten trail.  As she skates her way around the travails of campaigns, it might be worth investigating if the Clinton foundation has enough global connection to engineer earthquakes in Nepal, train wrecks in Philly and meltdown's in L.A., taking the spotlight off of Hillary and confirming that the Clippers are still just the Clippers. Stop smiling Donald Sterling!

Today's non-Hillary news cycle tells about a 'Son's of Anarchy' like flash mob shootout in Texas in which 9 people died at the scene, with 18 others hospitalized. Meanwhile back in the newsroom, every news person has their eyes locked on television sets wondering who will be the FIRST network to get the Hillary exclusive, or will Hillary continue to stiff the media who keeps insisting that she can't get away with such an approach....can she?

In the past, being the first was a really big deal in the news business.  Not a whole lot has changed in regard to gaining exclusive interviews, but a lot has changed as it relates to access.  When the news media was the only method for getting your message delivered, the demand of catering to their invasive behavior loomed large.  Now that Obama's Hope message (and internet approach towards delivery) Changed the game of politics, Hillary is following his lead and refining the model as well.

Obama was the first to take his message to the average Joe or JoAnn when he began granting interviews to non-traditional media sources- the last if you will- after long absences from traditional media outlets.  Lately, unless you are a presidential candidate with common desperation for traditional media outlets. it seems the last might be the first and the most likely connection that Hillary (our next POTUS frontrunner) makes with America during her campaign. As the traditional news reporters are watching the TV universe, the exclusive is more likely to first appear on Twitter'verse.  Even the emails from her private server won't be released until 2016, a pace that the State Department will now dictate removing her from control of the release or culpability with further delay.

Who's To Blame?

News rooms with multiple screens blaring multiple news sources all at once are just as culpable to the demise of American politics as the proliferation of dirty money, especially in the eyes of Hillary who is pointing her admonition in both directions.  When you keep a watch on the news like news reporters do, there becomes a certain inevitability to certain proceedings.  Inevitably, all politicians have to endure the heat from the media as their litmus test of viability and their access to the news cycle. Except Hillary.  Whether she wants the exposure or not, only death and disaster can pull her from the top of every news program.

Yesterday, according to her liking and planning, Hillary gave a few reporters an opportunity at a few questions, just so she can place perfectly contained and packaged messages on Iraq and her emails into the recent news cycle. Unlike several republican presidential candidates recently, Hillary did not struggle to deliver a concise message that will calm the flames from reporter's burning to put the heat on Hillary. Every question had a thorough and concise response that will replay like magic for the guaranteed soundbites that news stations need from Hillary.

Hillary has never struggled in the face of media, but this Hillary is seemingly content and intent on changing the way we do politics in America which includes finishing the immigration problem once and for all.  Since Hispanic America will soon dictate a lot politically, a president who is truly prepared to win a general election without a plan for immigration is somewhat laughable. Only Jeb Bush seems to be aware of the joke so many republicans are making of their candidacy while trying to establish a platform of second class citizenship for immigrants.  Tracking back to the center on immigration after the primary is a dead tactic that will not survive the voting booth if pro-immigration voters are leery of a president who is not supportive of our nation for immigrants.

For all of our social flaws, too many reasonable people remain in America for unreasonable presidents to get elected anymore. The presidential press core has relegated themselves into the category of unreasonably desperate to be first instead of being fair or accurate and not appearing angry simply because of lack of access.  In the news business, if you can't get the first interview, you try to be the first to cause a fumble, which is the ultimate goal of every news station that chases after exclusive interviews and exclusive sound bites in the first place.  YouTube and Twitter don't allow for question and answer, and are simply not exclusive enough for the mainstream media to control the message or ruffle the messenger.  Hillary has decided that her need for notoriety is not the same as her need to share a message, which can be done these days via YouTube or Twitter.  She has all the notoriety a presidential candidate could need. However, if she was short on notoriety, her current posture of conscientious dissent against the media is indirectly giving her more media coverage than she could have otherwise dreamed of.

Every word she speaks now becomes instant lead off news just as her silence has been as well.  When she needs to make definitive statements on important matters of significance, she does it in the midst of a scheduled event (rather presidential if you ask me) and keeps it moving without questions. News outlets that continue to anger themselves with not being the first, seem the last to recognize how they are being used as a tool for the Clinton's, of the Clinton's and by the Clinton's, who have enough support in the media realm to absorb the saliva from the wolves, hungry to get any taste of Hillary that they can, even a subordinate if necessary.

Hillary will probably duke it out with Jeb in the finals, but no one will ever throw political punches quite the way Hillary is throwing them right now.  Call her the Mayweather of politics if you will because her approach is totally defensive.  Thanks to Obama, she won't have the unblemished record of Mayweather, but she also won't have the main political opponent capable of beating her in the way either, since he's retiring under limited terms and seems poised to support Hillary's campaign.  Left in Obama's wake is a manner of politicking that Hillary has observed closely.  In some ways, she and Bill helped to shape the Obama doctrine that will gain a New Testament if Hillary continues with her coronation.

In fact, whether she wins or not, Hillary is already forcing anyone who hopes to beat her to adopt or counter the kind of change that potentially remakes our game called politics, since campaign finance reform, immigration, wage disparity and now drug addictions are all hot button Hillary issues.  For that, she's won already.

Whatever she's doing to the media right now is purely a bonus.

Did Hillary Clinton Say Enough Or Did She Say Too Much? #winning!!

Hillary Clinton has spoken again.  It wasn't exactly a 140 character tweet, but close enough.  The essence of her statement today was that

Did Hillary say enough or too much?

"I did not send any classified emails on my personal email system",

and she is not releasing her private server to anybody, so you will simply have to take her word for it.

What we've already known is that laws gave her the right to do what she chose to do.  After today's tweet of a news conference, we now know that she, and she alone, had the privilege of deciding which of the 55,000 pages of emails were business related and which emails were not.  We could contrive a deeper conspiracy based upon an unknown hypothetical, but hypothetical supposition will be the full extent of this conversation. Especially if we are looking for Hillary to add any more to the narrative.

Rumors claim that she will declare herself a candidate for president soon (April 1), but she serves herself NO functional benefit in doing so until her fictitious poll numbers begin to slide. Regardless of an official declaration, Hillary should continue her worldwide benevolence tour in the name of the Clinton Foundation, renown for its benevolence. The "convenience" explanation is her only admitted oversight in this matter, so thanks to this server scapegoat, her former president and rightful civilian husband leaves Hillary immune to everything except supposition.

You remember Bill?

Bill Clinton, Hillary's hubby, is the man famous for staring us in the face (just as Hillary did today) and boldly declaring,

"I did not have sex with that woman".  

At the time he said it, we took him at his word and kept on moving.  And then that woman with the stained blue dress leaked.  Today, the Clinton's don't let their stained blue dresses get outside of their super secure server, so to speak.  Their reputation for playing political hardball means they need to do a head fake on the public while they stick it to political enemies in order to maintain their untouchable image.

Playing politics well is not the worst of sins considering the challenge with being effective in such a seedy world. Its the equivalent of letting a little air out of the football during a cold playoff game. The truth is that most people hate the Clinton's like they hate the New England Patriots; a hatred bred primarily from envy. Yet, given an opportunity to place a wager on each, you would more likely bet for them instead of against them.  How they (the Clinton's, not the Patriots) operate only adds to my admiration of them in that they play a smelly game but come out looking like roses even if they still stink a bit. (Roses smell like boo boo boo - Outkast)

Hillary should not have to divulge every personal thing that came from her years in government, just the work related stuff.  The entirety of what Hillary should provide America is presently being verified by the state department before public release, which will take a few months to complete.    In a few months, we will wait for reporters to weed through these pages and pages of state department released emails in the hopes of finding some useful nugget of gold that will justify all of this hysteria and all of the time we are about to waste trying to find that needle shaped nugget of gold lost inside of the Clinton's field of hay.

If they don't find anything juicy enough, they will focus their energy towards  the unknowns that Hillary made mention of.  The server will be spun into a nefarious image and added to the growing perception of deception that Clinton opponents are using as their line for disqualifying her from the presidency.  Even if she hands over the server,  they must find something on it or her opponents will claim that criminal information was already deleted from the server, so it doesn't matter anymore what emails she shares.

And that, my friends, is the actual sad truth of the Hillary story.  It will never matter what she claims because both her supporters and her enemies have firmly made up their minds regarding Hillary as a candidate for president of the United States of America. Hillary is fully reconciled with her public persona to the extent that she felt she could deal with this email crisis' using 140 letters through Twitter.

Her press conference represented nothing more than another 140 characters of clarification and a repeat of the old tweet and the new one each time the questions came at her.  In her clarification statement, Clinton regrets the decision to operate using only one email because of "convenience", but also insists that she's offered unprecedented cooperation with all of the emails that 'she wants the public to see'.  From here forward, Hillary will pull a Marshawn Lynch and push the tape recorder on her packaged answers until the questions die down. As frustrated as the entire media core seems to be over this issue, they are mostly upset at themselves for not finding a way to crack open the Clinton machine or that damn server.

The icy steel surface of the Clinton machine has always been cold enough to compel me into the camp of Jeb Bush, who will never be as careful a politician as Hillary Clinton is- and that's a good thing.  Hillary was the person who conceded her defeat to Barack Obama by comforting her supporters with "the sure knowledge that the path will be a little easier next time".  Prior to the interview questions that she took today- questions that Hillary has not taken in 2 years- Mrs. Clinton was making fairly good on her promise of an easier path back to the white house.

Most of what is at play here seems to be an effort to protect CGI (Clinton Global Initiative), the Clinton family brand that has allowed them unprecedented power and influence throughout the world.  CGI might have taken some money from a couple of bad players, but bad money for good purposes can always spin well on the nightly news.  The family business, and becoming Secretary of State, were all simply part of the plan of  'making that path easier next time'.  Operating entirely above  board limits your ability to do a lot of good things that might 'make the path easier next time', so the Clinton's had little choice than to limit future access to retribution while smoothing the path back to their old crib.

Hillary seems confident that Americans understand when the ends justify the means in politics, so her explanations will always be short and sweet, maybe even a tweet- but always with a smile and a wink.

Because everybody knows how hard it is out here for a woman named Clinton.

Media (Not Hillary Clinton) Losing Credibility With E-mail Scandal

The press core is totally unaccustomed to not having full access... and its killing them.

To date, Hillary Clinton is not a candidate for president and any comparison polls that forcibly include her into the equation do so under the same guise that they do with Dr. Ben Carson.  He, nor she, have formally declared a bid for the presidency and America's media has to find a way to deal with it.

In fact, they are dealing with it by trying to force Hillary to develop a campaign team and do all of the normal posturing that every potential candidate has begun to do.  Because they assume she will run, they treat her as though she must behave like a candidate even if she refuses to do it right now.  When a liberal talk show host asked his panel the obvious question of whether or not she will actually run for president, the entire panel immediately blurted out into uncontrolled laughter. Even those who seem compelled to support her also seem enticed to question her unwillingness to play by the rules of the media.

Enough said?

How could a WOMAN have a landslide lead over every potential competitor that the imaginary polls imagine her facing?  Since Elizabeth Warren seems more convinced to let Hillary decide absent the challenge of the only democratic alternative,   Hillary is in the catbird seat and modern media types are none too happy about it.  To date, the media has functionally forced all of the other candidates to the pre-campaign posture by unearthing the kind of potential pitfalls that make politicians defensive.  With Hillary Clinton, the defense has been one short tweet and a bunch of  unofficial apologist' speaking on behalf of a Hillary communication team that simply doesn't exist.

How can she truly be a candidate for president and not have a communication staff already in place?
How can she be winning a race that she won't formally posture herself to pursue?  How can this
WOMAN be handing so many capable men their lunch and sending them off to presidential campaign school? How can she attend scheduled events and ignore the email question altogether? What Hillary is doing flies in the face of so many powerful entities that she is disrupting the universe of political power in America.  If white American men still own the stable of America's political power,  the American press core represents the cowboy who keep watch over the cattle.  At times they can break a bronco into submission if necessary, but mostly a quick lasso or an untimely scandal can reign in the wanderers.

Hillary the wanderer

Hillary has jumped the fence, escaped the stable and caused powerful people to feel a disruption in their solar system.  Whether the email controversy is real or just really necessary for the politically desperate power players who have engineered this scandal (sorry Trey Gowdy), Hillary should stand strong and not allow the noise to scare her back into herd mentality.  Her role as a WOMAN will demand that she redefine the norm, and she has started out on the right track.    As a former Washington insider, looking like an outsider will be the greatest campaign achievement that Hillary has ever accomplished. By the time Hillary announces her run for president, the electorate should be desperate for her 'outside off the stable 'view and willing to elect her to bring her back into the fold.

Though I do not embrace the close to the vest nature of the Clinton machine, this email scandal makes me more aware of the necessity of her approach.  To functionally operate within the confines of D.C. politics demands a posture that shows compassion towards everyone, but commitment to few. Such a careful posture has lead to John Kerry being the first Secretary of State to actually use a government email server since way back when Al Gore invented the internet.   Assuming email from the Secretary of State is truly an issue of concern, then it is a concern that only modern Secretaries of State endure because email is way too modern to have formulated it into Constitutional standards.

Those standards were established in 2013 and later solidified with updated language in 2014 under H.R. 1852.   Even if Hillary had acted unethically during her tenure, the law against her behavior was not established until after she left office.  Will that be enough to disqualify her for the highest office on earth? Well lets consider that thought.

If Jeb Bush, who is chasing after campaign donors for his obvious run, is struggling to outpace Ben Carson, while Hillary- who doesn't have a press team but is kicking the butts of everyone who does- the answer to 2016 is more clear than ever before.  The ruthlessness of political rhetoric has soured the entire nation against parroting politicians and traditional veins of information.  Simply said, WE don't trust a damn thing anymore, so most information we hear gets Google searched or weighed against motive.  How we choose presidents might now be a function of the things candidates say, but also a by-product of how well they shut up  and just let the music play when necessary.  If politics were a fiddle, Hillary is playing this tune as from a Stradivarius. Even her bad notes have an ethereal quality to them.  Some people will appreciate her orchestral prowess while others seek a little country twang from their fiddlers. No candidate could ever satisfy all musical tastes, so Hillary should keep writing her concerto and allow others to argue if words should accompany or not.

Its hard to confirm when exactly cynical America rose to power, but United We Stand.  From this day forward no poll, pundit,  prognosticator or drummed up news will select America's president.

 And that's the way it should be.
